The abuse service promotes social engagement and community participation while improving the quality of community content.
Abuse can be reported, moderated, appealed, reviewed, and removed. Moderators (or a role having Group - Manage Abuse permission) can moderate abuse by clicking Abuse Management to display the content as well as information about it and about the reporter.

Community members who are responsible for the questionable content can appeal the report before moderators or an appeal board. The board, chosen among peers in the community, vets abuse reports and uphold or overturn reports.
Abuse metrics are calculated by the Score service.
