Dallas – September 17, 2013 – Telligent (Zimbra), a leading provider of social community software, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace.” (1) Gartner selects and positions vendors in the Magic Quadrant based on their ability to execute on product functionality, sales, marketing and customer experience, among other factors.
The inclusion of Telligent (Zimbra) on this year’s Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace marks the company’s fifth appearance in five years. Gartner’s designation of Telligent (Zimbra) as a visionary company in the social software market comes in the wake of Telligent’s recent acquisition of Zimbra and the organization’s plans to rebrand under the Zimbra name later this year.
