Zimbra Desktop supports today’s flexible work environments by providing a rich and consistent user experience offline. With Zimbra Desktop, users can work offline in Zimbra Collaboration email, voice, calendar, contacts, files and more from their desktop and then reconnect to synchronize their work. The free and open source email client works with any email account – integrating Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, business email, etc. into a single user interface along with Zimbra.

Zimbra Desktop 7.2.5 updates Zimbra Desktop for use with Zimbra’s upcoming summer release of Zimbra Collaboration 8.5. It also provides an upgrade path for organizations that are currently using Zimbra Desktop 2.0.x. Zimbra plans to release a brand new user experience for Zimbra Desktop later in the fall.
